The Education Fund provides many opportunities for you and your company to contribute to Miami-Dade public schools. Our schools need the time, money and resources you and your business can provide. In some cases this requires no more than a phone call. Please, get involved!
From the navigation menu on the right you may:
Contact your elected officials to let them know your views on public education issues. Use the "Find Your Elected Officials" link to the right to find the school board members, state legislators and official in congress elected to represent you. Keep abreast of the critical issues, let those who vote on the issues know your interests and views and ask them to represent you.
Participate in The Education Fund's Teach-A-Thon, where business people learn the importance of teaching and its direct link to student achievement by teaching a class in Miami-Dade public schools. It's a fun company event for you, your employees or colleagues.
Recycle your company's computers through the FamilyTech program. Education Fund staff refurbishes usable computers and gives them a second life at a Miami-Dade public school or student's home. Call today for a pick up.
Donate excess inventory, office supplies or miscellaneous items to the Ocean Bank Center for Educational Materials, where teachers shop for free to supply their classrooms with additional items and materials. From paper to excess pencils, bolts of fabric to unused office supplies, our teachers can use it in their classroom. Call today for a pick up.
Sponsor one of our many events and get your business, mission and values up front before other Miami business and hundreds in the teaching community.
Donate directly to The Education Fund to support the many programs in Miami-Dade public schools. We offer many giving opportunities to suit your interests.
Volunteer at the OCBEM Warehouse, if you are a teacher. Teachers qualify for additional shopping days.
