Citibank Family Tech needs your computers.
We are accepting the follow types of equipment at this time. If your equipment does not match the lists below, feel free to call Humberto Perez at 305-892-5099, ext. 20 or from the e-mail link at the right, to see if we are able to make an exception.
Minimum requirements for donated computers:
PCs or Laptops:
PC-Compatibles, Intel Pentium III, 400 MHz rated or above.
An operating system does not need to be installed. The system must at least boot to a point where it shows some sign of text or graphics on the screen.
We will accept "barebones" systems (PCs missing parts), but we prefer them with working hard drives, floppies and RAM.
We can not accept Macintosh computers or software at this time.
Monitors:
SVGA Color, 14" to 17"
We cannot accept larger monitors... They are too big for the children in our programs to use!
Printers and Fax Machines:
We are not accepting printers, fax machines, or scanners at this time.
Hard drives, Floppy Drives, CDROM Drives, Memory, Scanners, Other Accessories:
We do accept other, working PC accessories on a regular basis as long as they include all necessary power and connection cables. We do not accept UPSs, but we do accept regular surge protectors.
PC Software
We can only accept Clipart or Font software packages. Other PC software packages contain too many different licenses that prevent them from being transferred from one user to another. Any Clipart or Font software donated must come with all of its original CDs, manuals, licenses, and serial numbers.
