Idea EXPO Professional Development Credits

To receive the 9 M-DCPS professional development credits for attending the IMPACT II Idea EXPO on Sat. October 11, 2008, you must also REGISTER ONLINE by Oct. 9 at the M-DCPS Web site, www.dadeschools.net, under employees at the Professional Development Menu and Registration System log-in page. (see link below)
The title of the conference is IMPACT II Idea EXPO of The Education Fund.

• At the Idea EXPO on Sat. Oct. 11, 2008, you will need to FILL-OUT and SIGN Form 5739 - Professional Conference form.
• FORM 5739 WILL BE AVAILABLE at the Idea EXPO AFTER the LAST WORKSHOP at the main registration tables.
  This 5739 Professional Conference form must be filled-out and signed by you and GIVEN BACK to THE EDUCATION FUND at the registration tables at the end of the day.

To receive the 9 professional development credits from M-DCPS for participating in the IMPACT II Idea EXPO, you will need to:

• Attend the entire EXPO on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 from 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Please submit by December 1, 2008: a lesson plan based on an idea you received at the Idea EXPO that you have used.
  You may submit your lesson plan using the form below or e-mail or mail the lesson plan.
  E-mail the lesson plan to lvalle@educationfund.org, or
  mail to Lorna Valle, The Education Fund, 900 NE 125 Street, Suite 110, North Miami, FL 33161.

The Education Fund will then record that you have completed the requirements on Form 5739 Professional Conference and deliver to the Professional Development Data Center after December 1, 2008.
The credits should post to your account by Jan. 15.
