Special Categories for Funding

Additional funding is available for projects that specifically address these areas:

• Literary: programs that motivate students to be lifelong readers and build in students a love of literature.

• STEM: hands-on projects that incorporate the science, mathematics and/or technology engineers use. Also projects that entice women and minorities to explore engineering fields.

Please remember we are interested in projects in all K-12 curriculum areas, so if your project idea does not fit into one of these special categories, we are still interested in receiving your proposal!
