Each year at the For the Love of Art Charity Auction, The Education Funds honors approximately 15 successful graduates of our public schools. These individuals have demonstrated that with a public-school education you can achieve amazing success.
A hallmark of our honorees is that they have made an impact on the vitality of Miami-Dade County. Past honorees include Terry Curry, COO and Executive Vice President, Ocean Bank; Jaret Davis, Co-Managing Shareholder, Greenberg Traurig, P.A.; Madeline Pumariega, President, Miami Dade College; Mindy Marques Gonzalez, Executive Editor, The Miami Herald; Carol Wyllie, Executive Vice President, The Graham Companies; Joe Natoli, Executive VP & Chief Administrative Officer, Baptist Health South Florida; Udonis Haslem, Professional Basketball Player, Miami Heat and Larry Little, former Miami Dolphin and NFL Hall of Fame member.
The Education Fund is requesting nominations for the 2025 awards.
Nominees must be a graduate of a public high school with priority given first to graduates from the Miami-Dade County public schools, then to the graduates of South Florida public schools and then graduates of other public schools.
All nominees will be reviewed by the nomination committee to determine their qualifications for the award. If you would like to make a nomination, please fill out and submit the information below.
